Retreat Within A Retreat
"Retreat Within A Retreat" takes place during the three Marist Youth Encounter Christ Retreats held
in Esopus, NY each year. Taking a new theme each Encounter, the young adult leaders are
challenged to process their experiences and encounter God in new ways. Through scripture, video
and shared prayer the participants reflect upon on how they see the face of God in others and how
they are the face of God for others.

An exciting opportunity to spend a year living in Esopus and sharing in the work of Marist Brothers
Retreat Center in NY. For those over 21 years of age, spend a year of service with other Young
Adults developing your own faith and working retreats. If your graduating from college or need a
break from the monotony of the daily grind, consider a rewarding year of volunteer service.
