Laity groups Boston Province
Sunday June 20th 2010, was a DAY OF RECOLLECTION for lay Marists at the Marist House (518
Pleasant Street, Framingham, MA 01701). It ran from 10:00 a.m. to about 3:00 p.m. with registration
beginning at 9.00 a.m. Those attending brought their bagged lunch. Coffee, soft drinks and Danish
were provided for breakfast and a dessert for lunch.
The speaker was Fr. Albert DiIanni, s.m. and the theme was "WHAT DOES MARY MEAN FOR
MARISTS? One talk tried to answer that question, and a second talk tried to answer the question:
"Why Should Fr. Colin be Canonized?"
Holy Mass was celebrated and there was Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament in the afternoon, at
which several lay Marists were professed.
